Stoney’s Lobster Run started as a small motorcycle run with friends going for a ride starting at Danny’s “Hot Dog Stand” on the Mall stand on the mall in Brunswick then heading to Spinney’s Restaurant in Phippsburg. John “Stoney “ Dionne just wanted to get together with friends for a friendly afternoon ride. After five years, the run grew in size and was moved to Cottle’s at Grand City in Brunswick. After several more years the run grew and was finally moved to Fort Andross in Brunswick Maine. The run has now grown to over 3,000 bikes making the trip from the fort to Boothbay Harbor helping raise funds to benefit The Maine Children’s Cancer Program.

This year marks the 31st annual Lobster Run; we look forward to continuing Stoney’s Lobster Run while raising funds for this wonderful cause. We want to let everyone know Stoney had many friends and supporters and we would like to reach out to them to make the Lobster Run even more successful than past years. Please join us this year to provide your support for the Maine Children’s Cancer Program.

The Dionne family would like to thank you for your continued support.
